Our Beginning
Luxury should feel like home
Hotel Capri opened in 2018 with a simple belief: luxury should feel like home. Not home as in familiar — home as in the place where you finally exhale.
Built on a stretch of coast that locals have loved for generations, Capri is a 28-room retreat designed by architects who believe buildings should belong to their landscape. The stone is local. The timber is reclaimed. The gardens are native. Everything about this place says: you are here, and here is beautiful.
Founders Marcus and Elena Thorne spent fifteen years in hospitality before building Capri. They had seen how luxury hotels often feel — impressive but impersonal, beautiful but cold. They wanted to build something warmer. A place where the staff knows your name by dinner, where the chef asks how you liked breakfast, where the flowers in your room were cut that morning from the garden outside.

Our Values
Locally Rooted
Our staff, our suppliers, our ingredients — from this coast. We believe a hotel should strengthen the community it belongs to. Eighty percent of our team lives within twenty minutes. Our produce comes from farms you can see from the terrace.

Not excess, but intention. Every detail chosen for a reason. Luxury at Capri is not about thread counts and marble — it is about the feeling that someone thought about your comfort before you arrived, and kept thinking about it after.
Sustainable by Design
Solar-powered, single-use plastic free, native gardens. Sustainability is not our marketing — it is our architecture. The building was designed to work with the climate, not against it. We generate more energy than we consume.
